迪拜警方表示，在过去的18个月，一共没收了2105辆非法改装车辆。

今年2月，一周内有20辆车因非法改装而被扣押，这些车辆为了达到更高的速度均加装了动力助推器，这种改装将会使车辆的噪音更大。

上个月，朱美拉棕榈岛的居民抱怨该地区时常会有飙车事件，不久后警方就进行了严格的道路安全审查。

警方在Al Rashidiya没收了72辆汽车，在Al Qusais没收了79辆汽车，在Al Muraqqabat没收了31辆汽车，在Jebel Ali没收了17辆汽车，在Hatta没收了4辆汽车。

迪拜警方将继续严厉打击非法的汽车改装行为，目的是维护道路安全和减少交通死亡事故。
