1921年的上海，租界林立，局势剑拔弩张。来自五湖四海平均年龄仅28岁的热血青年们在上海共聚，燃烧起革命的烈火，从此改变了中国的历史。
《1921》是由腾讯影业、上海电影(集团)有限公司、上海三次元影业、阅文集团联合出品，黄建新执导，黄轩、倪妮、王仁君、刘昊然等主演的献礼建党100周年的历史剧情电影。该电影讲述了中国热血青年，在风雨如磐中担起了救亡图存重任，让中国革命前途焕然一新的故事。
《1921》近日作为开幕片在上海国际电影节首映并将于7月1日全国上映。
在上海国际电影节期间，英国独立发行厂牌 Trinity CineAsia 成功拿下了《1921》的海外发行版权，地域包括阿联酋、英国、爱尔兰等地的19个国家。
Trinity CineAsia 是英国发行华语电影最活跃的厂牌也在当地拥有最大的华语电影版权库。此次在中东的发行是一次新挑战，该厂牌将携手英中电影合作研发中心 (UK-China Film Collab) 把《1921》首先搬到迪拜的大银幕。这也是中国电影在海外发行的一次新突破。
Trinity CineAsia 联合创始人及总监 Cedric Behrel 表示，“我们很期待在海外为电影《1921》开拓新的观众。我们的发行业务不断在拓展，近期在俄罗斯地区发行的《急先锋》创下了很好的佳绩。中东和北非领域是我们新的尝试。”
英中电影合作研发中心创始人及总监陈晓雯博士表示：“我们一直很关注中东和非洲的市场。这次 Trinity CineAsia 愿意一起合力开拓新的地域，我们非常高兴。我们一直在探索在中东设立分中心的可能性，《1921》在迪拜的上映将会是我们很重要的第一步。”
据悉，电影《1921》将在7月初陆续登陆英国、爱尔兰以及迪拜的各大院线，更多国家的上映信息还会不断更新。
