此外，根据卫生部的通报，还有4人死亡，死亡总数为1724例；另有2094人痊愈，治愈总数为575288例。

截止到目前，阿联酋全国范围内共接种了13684429剂疫苗。

根据在阿布扎比进行的一项研究结果显示，嗅探犬不仅可以用于检测新冠病例，并且其成功率更高，灵敏度也比PCR鼻拭子测试更好。

研究称：“鉴于嗅探犬的（检测）灵敏度高、时间短、成本低、侵入性小、应用方便，因此在无症状个体中筛查SARS-CoV-2时，更好地替代RT-PCR检测。”

根据收集的3134份数据显示，嗅探犬（检测新冠病毒）的敏感率为89%，高于RT-PCR的73%。

“嗅探犬的灵敏度高于RT-PCR测试……这表明，（嗅探犬）有很大的潜力可以正确识别真正的阴性Covid-19个体。”

用于研究的检测样本全部来自19至67岁的男性，其中90%以上为亚洲裔，38%来自印度，28%来自巴基斯坦。
