2020年12月，沙迦批准了有史以来最大的预算，在336亿迪拉姆的预算中，47%用于支付工资。
2017 年 12 月，酋长下令拨款6亿迪拉姆，用于增加政府雇员的工资。
根据当时公布的薪酬结构，没有学校证书的公民最低收入为1.75万迪拉姆，持有学校证书的公民最低工资为1.85万迪拉姆，而大学毕业生的最低工资为2.5万迪拉姆。
