2020年，迪拜在吸引外商投资方面位居中东地区第一名。

根据迪拜投资发展署（Dubai Investment Development Agency，Dubai FDI）发布的数据，2020年流入迪拜的外商直接投资金额高达247亿迪拉姆。

这些资金创造了18325个新就业机会，超过了过去五年的平均水平。

在待开发项目中，投资份额在2020年占所有项目的2.1％，首次超过2％。

美国是第一大投资国，占外商直接投资资本的21％，投资了22%的项目，法国的投资资金占16％，日本的投资资金占11％，英国的投资资金占7％，德国的投资资金占6％。
