Al Balooshi强调，通过ADDED的阿布扎比商业中心（ADBC）可以轻松快捷地获得外国直接投资许可证，该过程仅需三个关键步骤：提交许可证申请；在满足所有条件后获得批准以及填写所有必需的文件；最后是支付费用并获得许可证。
Al Balooshi说，100%外国直接投资许可证涵盖了农业部门的各种产品，包括谷物、豆类作物、蔬菜水果的种植；此外，外国投资者还可以进行牲畜繁殖、种子加工等活动。
工业活动包括食品饮料、服装、皮革、木材、塑料、合成橡胶、肥料、农药和其他农业化学产品的生产。
服务活动包括法律咨询、会计、审计、税务咨询、建筑工程活动、医疗和牙科诊所、兽医、算机编程服务、科技咨询和研发活动等。
以下13项活动不允许100%外资所有，包括邮政和电信服务；音频和视频媒体相关服务；石油勘探与生产；地面和空中运输服务；与调查，安全和军事部门有关的活动；武器，爆炸物以及军事装备的制造；印刷出版服务；银行和金融活动；付款服务和现金处理系统；商业代理服务；保险活动，医疗零售活动；朝拜服务；雇用佣人和雇员活动；与毒物控制中心，血库和卫生检疫有关的活动；水电服务和渔业活动。
