11月14日，阿联酋乌姆盖万150MIGD海水淡化项目EPC合同签约仪式在阿联酋首都阿布扎比举行。
中国葛洲坝集团股份公司党委书记、董事长陈晓华，ACWA Power 董事局主席Mohammed Abunayyan出席签约仪式。

作为全球前五大、中企在全球承揽的最大海水淡化工程之一，项目的签署是中国能建葛洲坝集团践行绿色发展理念，加强国际多边合作，助推“2036阿联酋水安全战略”实施和“一带一路”高质量发展的重要成果。

项目位于阿联酋乌姆盖万酋长国，迪拜以北约60公里，合同工期33个月。
中国能建葛洲坝国际公司将与法国SIDEM公司组成联营体负责项目EPC建设。项目的成功签约开创了中国、沙特、法国企业在技术、资金、建设等领域多边友好合作的范例。
阿联酋是最早响应“一带一路”倡议的国家之一，也是“一带一路”建设的“重要支点国家”。
作为阿联酋政府的重要民生工程，项目充分利用当地丰富的海水资源，采用先进的“膜法”海水淡化工艺，每天提供68万吨洁净饮用水，惠及阿联酋百万居民。
在技术层面，项目相比普通海水淡化工程降低20%的电力消耗，是世界领先的绿色节能环保工程。目前项目开工前期各项准备工作已全面启动，计划于本月全面开工。
签约仪式后，陈晓华与ACWA Power 董事局主席Mohammed Abunayyan举行会谈。
陈晓华表示，自2018年6月签署战略合作协议以来，双方在多个项目合作中建立了紧密的战略合作伙伴关系。希望未来在新能源、海水淡化及联合循环电站等领域，以EPC和参股投资等方式，与ACWA Power在全球各区域加深合作，实现共同发展。
葛洲坝将配备优势资源，加强项目履约监管，确保项目按时保质移交。
Mohammed Abunayyan先生对双方务实合作表示赞赏，称对阿联酋乌姆盖万海水淡化项目推进充满信心，期待与葛洲坝持续深化务实合作，创新合作模式，实现强强联合、互利共赢。
在阿联酋期间，陈晓华还听取了集团中东市场经营情况的汇报，分析了当前机遇与挑战，要求做好市场统筹规划，集中优势资源，实现中东市场开发滚动发展。
