上个星期，一名男子在科威特中暑，接到报案后，警察和救护车迅速赶来，但当他们找到他时，他已经去世了。法医报告指出死因是过度暴露在阳光下 。
我们平时随口说说的“热死人了”，在科威特成为一个真实的新闻事件。
前不久，Al Qabas报纸报道称，科威特创下了世界最高气温记录，在阳光直射下气温达到“62摄氏度”，即便在阴影中也有52.2摄氏度。科威特的气象学家预测今年夏天的天气会变化无常，并指出下个月的温度可能会达到68度。、
来自中国媒体的视频剪辑报道，天气热到车都自燃
甚至网上有图片传出，连科威特的红绿灯和汽车尾灯都被高温和毒辣阳光烤化（没有考证呦~）……
然而根据当时该地科学测量出的气温结果显示 —— 仅为52度，该气温并未打破世界纪录。此前的最高气温为1913年美国加利福尼亚州的56.7摄氏度（不要诧异为什么最热会轮到美国，因为加州有个超级热的“死亡谷”）。而2016年7月21日科威特Mitribah的气温为53.9度，是亚洲最高气温保持者，也是全球第三高气温。
这样看起来国内30来度压根不算什么……
而阿联酋历史上的最高气温为2002年的52.1摄氏度。在迪拜，夏季的平均气温在42-45度左右，外界传言迪拜的50度高温天，其实只是小概率事件。事实上在过去几十年里，迪拜气象站记录的最高气温为48.5摄氏度。
