我想大家一谈到阿里巴巴，就会想到电子商务、淘宝网，支付宝。然而在这一切伟大的互联网平台后，则是阿里巴巴技术力量的体验，尤其是云计算和大数据的支持，才能勾画出阿里帝国的传奇。现在阿里巴巴把云计算和大数据的优势带到迪拜，它正成为这些互联网尤其是中国互联网力量在中东的技术保障。

本文的受访对象是阿里巴巴中东非洲云计算的负责人胡丹，让他来为我们描述阿里云究竟能为中东互联网做一些什么。

迪拜人：谈到阿里巴巴大家都会想到电子商务、淘宝网，支付宝，反而对阿里巴巴的技术优势云计算和大数据比较不熟悉，那么能否先简单谈一下什么是云计算？好让读者有所了解。

胡丹：云计算（Cloud Computing），是一种基于互联网的计算方式，通过这种方式，可以按需求提供共享的计算资源和信息。云计算是通过使计算分布在大量的分布式计算机上，而非本地计算机或远程服务器中。

云计算时代之前，我们需要购买”发电机”（大型机，个人电脑，服务器，数据中心等等），有专业人员管理和维护才能获取”电”即计算或者数据分析能力。云计算技术助力企业能够将资源切换到云计算数据中心，好比是从古老的单台发电机模式转向了电厂集中供电的模式。它意味着计算能力也可以作为一种商品进行流通，就像煤气、水电一样，取用方便，费用低廉。最大的不同在于，它是通过互联网进行传输的。

可能大家对阿里的电子商务比较熟悉但是对阿里的云计算不一定很了解， 阿里云成立于2009年,  双11、12306，余额宝，华大基因测序等均运营在阿里云平台上，2015年双十一当天，基于阿里云，天猫和支付宝处理超过7.1亿的支付交易，峰值达到每秒14万笔，并无一漏单，成为新的世界纪录。

在2014年，阿里云曾帮助用户抵御全球互联网史上最大的DDoS攻击，峰值流量达到每秒453.8Gb。在Sort Benchmark 2015世界排序竞赛中，阿里云利用自研的分布式计算平台ODPS，377秒完成100TB数据排序，刷新了原1406秒的世界纪录。

迪拜人：目前阿里巴巴在迪拜卖的是一种什么样的服务？哪一些类型的公司和企业适合使用阿里巴巴的服务？

胡丹：阿里云中东数据中心（迪拜）预计年底正式上线。目前我们已经在阿里云国际站（intl.aliyun.com）上线了9个区域，含中国大陆5个数据中心节点，海外4个数据中心节点（香港，新加坡，美西，美东）。年内我们还会有中东，欧洲，日本，澳洲数据中心上线。从技术层面来看，阿里云产品拥有完整的底层技术平台、弹性计算、云数据库RDS、存储与CDN、网络、大规模计算、云盾、管理与监控、应用服务等项目。

凭借遍布世界各地的全球数据中心，阿里云提供具有高扩展能力、高可用性和高成本效益的云计算服务。目前阿里云在全世界超过180万客户，电子商务，游戏，软件开发公司，中小型企业，政府等都是我们的目标客户。

此外，阿里云广泛在金融、交通、基因、医疗、气象等领域输出一站式的大数据解决方案。为政务、游戏、金融、电商、移动、医疗、多媒体、物联网、O2O等多种行业提供了专门的解决方案。

迪拜人：阿里巴巴是什么时候进驻迪拜的？你是什么时候加入阿里巴巴的？为什么阿里巴巴要选择迪拜这个地方来开展服务？

胡丹：我们的迪拜办公室是去年成立的，我本人很荣幸成为公司在中东和非洲区域（MEA）招聘的第一位员工，现在逐渐在建立本地的销售和技术团队。云计算和大数据，全球化，农村是阿里巴巴集团的三大战略，目前，MEA市场尚没有本地专业的公共云数据中心，阿里云中东数据中心也将成为区域内第一个公共云数据中心，也将成为阿里云云计算和全球化布局的重要组成部分。

迪拜人：现在有哪些本地的互联网公司已经在使用阿里巴巴的服务？阿里巴巴在本地的接受程度如何？

胡丹：本地不少客户（游戏，电商，软件开发商，中小企业，大学等等）在使用或者正在测试我们的云服务，比如比如ONEMT、Mena Mobile、V&S、ilead、JollyChic、KingSouq、Kilimall、21ChinaMall、Gooline、Yalla.Live、Meraas、DoTrip、HCT、Greadeal、Wenchao、Technomobs、IGT等等。我们也在寻求中东非洲本地的合作伙伴（分销商，集成商和管理服务提供商）的合作，建立中东非洲的云计算的生态环境。

在我们看来，本地的企业和互联网客户对阿里云的到来很期待，他们需要中东当地的，专业的公有云解决方案：低时延（高速度），完整专业的公有云解决方案（不仅仅是虚拟机），本地快速响应和专业服务，弹性的计费，而这一切都是阿里云迪拜数据中心可以提供的。

迪拜人：在迪拜或中东推广阿里的云计算和大数据业务，会碰上哪些困难？

胡丹：我们也需要做很多阿里云在中东非洲的品牌拓展的工作，让客户更多了解阿里云的产品和本地服务。

此外，随着传统IT 设施向云的转移，市场规模和增长速度是很大的，但本地的公共云计算的生态圈相对没那么成熟，阿里云需要在这方面有更多的投入和努力。

迪拜人：中东非洲的互联网环境如何？你觉得有什么机会？

中东非洲的互联网的环境我觉得有两点：经济不均衡，人口年轻化和快速增长。

经济不均衡：中东非洲区域内国与国的经济实力不均衡，可谓富也中东贫也中东。海湾国家如阿联酋、沙特、卡特尔、科威特等财力雄厚，基本实现了4G移动网络和固定高速光纤宽带的覆盖，在游戏和电商支付能力很强，以卡塔尔为例，人均GDP逾10万美元，已经实现了4G移动网络和固定高速光纤网络全覆盖，但区域内也有不少国家，3G和普通的宽带网络网络还没有完全覆盖，只有在部分的咖啡厅、餐厅等场合才有wifi。

人口：中东地区男女人口比例为1:1.3-1.4，女性人口高于男性。25岁以下人口大约占70%，而且人口还在快速增长。中东北非移动互联网用户年龄中位数为25岁，欧洲该数据为41岁。智能手机普及率很高，大部分国家人均都是1.5个手机以上。

互联网尤其是移动互联网的起步较晚但发展空间巨大，发展的速度我觉得会超过中国。直播和社交，电商，游戏，支付等会有很多机会。我们也希望通过阿里云的云计算和大数据技术促进中东非洲的互联网快速发展，为了无法计算的价值。
